A team of girls, supervised by their teachers, visited state capital Lucknow on educational tour. Many of these girls had ventured out of the district for the first time. It was an enriching experience for the girls.
A book dedicated to Sarvodaya Ashram founder Ramesh Bhai, The Jamun Tree and Other Stories on the Environment, written by Pamela Chatterjee, was released at a function organised in New Delhi on January 30, 2012.
Sarvodaya ashram is a prominent voluntary organisation, based in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is working with some of the most deprived communities all over the State and has several achievements to its credit.
OUR FOUNDER: RAMESH BHAI
Founder of Sarvodaya Ashram, Ramesh Bhai, was a leader, visionary and Gandhian to the core. He founded the Ashram and led it to glorious heights. Unfortunately, he passed away at the young age of just 57 years on November 19, 2008.
