Alpana is the project funded by UNICEF and is being run on the lines of Udan. Alpana schools are run on the lines of Udan schools and cater to the drop out adolescent girls. They are being run in Pihani and Hariyawan blocks of Hardoi district.
The schools catered to 76 girls, out of which as many as 69 belonged to Scheduled Castes, five to backward classes, one to minorities and another to general classes.
