Targeted Intervention Project is being run in nine areas of Hardoi district since 2008 with the support of Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (UPSACS). It aims at sensitising men homosexuals for safe physical relations and taking precaution for HIV/AIDS, so activities of prevention, care and treatment are integrated and rate of HIV infection is brought down in the next five years.
